I wish

I wish people would finally start accepting that everybody is different, and it’s fine like that.

I wish they would start to realize that the person in front of them has a different, well, everything — from cultural background and family roots to daily decisions they make and the type of cereal they like for breakfast.

And there’s no place for judgement and thoughts “ew, that’s weird”.

I wish people started to truly put their families first. Your mom, dad, grannies and uncles are the only ones to stand for you no matter what.

I wish people would put down their phones more often for a real, face-to-face talk. Messages don’t matter, they are just a temporary mean of keeping in touch, yet we all mistake it for a permanent type of communication.

I wish people would find courage within to accept their mistakes. None of us is flawless.

I wish people learned that the only two blind-alleys in their lives are sickness and death. Yours and that of your loved ones. Everything else can be sorted out.

I wish people were more curious. Curious for knowledge, for other people, for something challenging and new.

I wish some people were less self-centric because damn, there’s a whole world out there, how about you come and explore it?

I wish people had more courage to accept who they really are — accept themselves sincerely and unconditionally. There’s literally no one like you out of 7 billion people on this planet.

And I wish people had courage to live their lives the way THEY want to. You are only given one life, and imagine yourself being one foot in the grave — what are the things you regret not having done?

Those are the things you should start doing now.
